Born on 31st January 1673, Louis Mary Grignion, widely known as Montfort, emerged as a true prophet of his time. Deeply moved by the sufferings of the poor and the marginalized, he recognized the presence of God in them and dedicated his entire life to their service.

Montfort’s life was marked by an unwavering spirit of compassion and a boundless love for the underprivileged. This constant flow of love and service drew its strength from his profound relationship with God alone, which remained the source of his inspiration and mission.
